Rare Feelings started with a way of seeing. We're drawn to what other people may walk past: copper vine ties pulled from old gardens, weathered roof tiles, old tools with no clear function. Objects marked by time, chance, and nameless hands. Forms that feel elemental, imperfect, and don't explain themselves.

What we collect, we see less as products and more as starting points – for conversation, for new ways of seeing a space, for connecting materials and histories that were never meant to meet.

We curate through accident and instinct, often removing objects from their expected contexts, placing them in dialogue, and occasionally bringing people together to explore these relationships through events in our Bushwick studio.
